You can’t save everyone, but you can give 200% to the one’s that accept your helping hand!

Good health and fitness is a life long pursuit and one I have dedicated my life to.
Combing a formal education with my background as a black belt in Karate, an accomplished Mixed Martial Artist and a former professional athlete my quest is to educate people in the importance of clean living, life balance, a healthy diet and the value of daily exercise.

Where the “Mind goes the Body” will follow! As a direct result of my martial arts training and experiences, I’ve discovered and became increasingly aware of the mind-body connection and it’s vital role it plays in our over-all wellness.

When I retired from professional competition and started focusing all of my attention on my career as a health and fitness professional, I found that this powerful knowledge I had gained greatly enhanced my skills as a personal trainer. The more I got my clients to tap into this connection between mind and body the better the results they saw.

While most personal trainers focus on “getting ripped and obsess over six-pack abs” (which really is  by-product of putting in the hard work and happens naturally) my training method puts more focus on “getting healthy, staying well and thriving as a direct result.

As I find myself growing older, the importance of good health, fitness and general wellness became clearer to me than ever before. Now, at a very active and youthful 54, it’s become increasingly apparent to me that age (for the most part) is really just a meaningless number and that I refuse to believe that age should influence or put any limitation on being fit, active, healthy (both mind and body), injury free and enjoying the best quality of life possible.

Unfortunately for most people age, personal and business obligations, busy work schedules, etc. become weak excuses for not making the commitment to themselves to reach their fitness potential. Instead, they use these various excuses to justify their poor fitness practices, poor diets, laziness and lack of motivation. Regrettably, as a direct result they are over weight, seriously de-conditioned and in many cases sadly unhappy.

The scary part is, their quality of life is suffering greatly and they are heading down the proven path toward serious illness. I know I would much rather sweat in the gym now, than sweat in the doctor's office later.

The best thing is…It’s never too late to decide to start moving in a healthier direction. Change your life. The choice is your’s. I’m holding the life-ring, all you have to do is reach out and grab it.
